• Certification training within 30 days of hire and certification within 120 days of hire is required if not yet certified.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• CPR - American Heart Association and background clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating patient care under supervision of a health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vital signs; review and document patient history and medication lists.
• Perform back office testing and assist with procedures.
• May serve as a scribe with additional training and ensure timely follow-up with patients.
• Maintain exam rooms and inventory; sterilize instruments and document in the EHR.
