Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pain Medicine Physician to join a physician-led group practice in Munster, IN. This role combines subspecialty pain management with high-tech hospital infrastructure and a focus on work-life balance.

You will perform interventional pain procedures, collaborate with spine surgeons, neurologists, and a multidisciplinary team, and use EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology subspecialty pathway).
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
• Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult pain conditions.
• Perform interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings.
• Collaborate with spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, and physical therapists.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state guidelines for controlled substances and patient safety.
• Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives.
