Job summary

A Pain Medicine Physician position is available in Munster, Indiana within a physician-led group at a Northwest Indiana health system. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluation and interventional treatment for adults with acute and chronic pain, in a high-tech environment with EPIC EHR and AI enhancements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology subspecialty pathway).
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
• Strong proficiency in interventional pain modalities, comprehensive patient assessment, and multidisciplinary care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medical/interventional treatment for adult patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care physicians.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and health system guidelines regarding controlled substance management and patient safety.
• Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives.
