Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing or diploma required upon hire.
• RN must be licensed in Kentucky upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Educates patient and family based on age, culture, and learning willingness.
• Performs duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
