Job summary

UKHS St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS is seeking a Pain Management Registered Nurse for day shift, PRN coverage. The RN coordinates safe patient care for diverse populations in collaboration with the Nurse Director/Manager to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include Kansas RN licensure, BLS within 14 days, ACLS and chemo knowledge within the first year, and an ADN (2-year degree) with BSN preferred. Proficiency with MS Office is a plus; telemetry/ICU/PCU experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS and post-surgical chemo knowledge within one year of hire.
• ADN or diploma is minimum; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for diverse populations.
• Assess needs, develop and prioritize goals, and evaluate care.
• Delegate tasks to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
