Job summary
The Veterans Health Administration in Salem, Virginia seeks a physician specialized in pain management to provide consultative and interventional care for Veterans. Qualifications
- United States citizenship per VA policy
- Current full and unrestricted medical license in the United States
- Completion of accredited residency in a core specialty
- Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Provide consultative and follow-up care for Veterans with chronic pain
- Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and hospital staff
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient pain management services
- Maintain COBRA/HIPAA guidelines and participate in CME
