Ascension is seeking a Physician Assistant for the AMG Providence Pain Management Clinic in Waco, TX. The role is outpatient, employed within a nonprofit health system, with no on-call requirement and a focus on high-quality care for a 148,000 population.

Licensure and NCCPA certification are required, with BLS and Advanced Life Support preferred. A Masters is preferred; 1 year experience is suggested. Comprehensive benefits accompany this stable, mission-driven practice.

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire date, recognized by AHA or ARC.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas PA Board prior to hire.
• Certified PA credential from NCCPA required prior to hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Physician Assistant Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience preferred.
