Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Medication Pain Management Physician to join our NeuroScience team, providing direct outpatient clinical care within a Comprehensive NeuroScience center.

The physician will evaluate and treat neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of acute, subacute, and chronic pain, collaborate with Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuroradiologists and Physiatrists, and participate in center design and

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in a pain management related specialty is required.
• Experience diagnosing and treating neuropharmacologic and psychodynamic aspects of pain.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in relevant field (anesthesia, neurology, psychiatry or physiatry).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatients in a Comprehensive NeuroScience center.
• Provide longitudinal care for acute, subacute, and chronic pain syndromes.
• Collaborate with Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuroradiologists and Physiatrists.
• Occasionally provide inpatient care when clinically warranted.
• Contribute to center design and educational initiatives.

Some care will be rendered in an inpatient setting should clinical circumstances warrant.The physician will not be responsible for performance of invasive pain management procedures.
