Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DEA license if regional requirements require.
• Masters Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, staff and the public.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, follow instructions, and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrates strong organization, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages patient pain issues per standard of care.
• Utilizes multimodal approach including medication, interventional management, physical therapy, and bracing.
• Explains procedures and treatment goals to patients.
• Interprets medical tests and discusses results with patients.
• Completes administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Monitors patient compliance with treatment plans.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with health information privacy laws.
