Sun River Health is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Pain Management to join our St. Ann’s site in Bronx, NY. Under physician supervision, you will plan, evaluate, and deliver health care with emphasis on preventive care and patient education.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree, NY NP license and CPR/BLS, and 1–3 years in Pain Management (3+ years preferred). Salary ranges from $154,876 to $167,378 with a $3,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (or related field).
• Current NY NP license and CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in Pain Management; 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes histories and performs physical examinations; provides immunizations and patient education.
• Orders appropriate labs and performs basic lab tests as needed; collaborates with physicians on medication and referrals.
• Prescribes treatment for minor illnesses and coordinates with physicians for complex cases.
• Maintains clear documentation and follows up on abnormal results and reports.
• Attends case conferences and participates in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
• Identifies age-specific patient needs across infants, children, adolescents and the elderly.
• Adheres to OSHA infection control standards and CDC guidelines.
• Ensures productivity, quality care and patient satisfaction.
