Groth Pain & Spine in Centereach, NY is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive pain management. You will manage acute, chronic, and post-surgical pain with a focus on multimodal care and ultrasound-guided procedures.

We offer mentorship, CME funding, and opportunities for professional growth. The role requires travel between multiple practice locations and collaboration with physicians, PAs, chiropractors, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Current NY NP licensure.
• Board Certification as NP (FNP, AGNP, or ANP).
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in pain management or orthopedics is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic pain conditions.
• Performing physical examinations and developing treatment plans.
• Administering procedures (trigger point injections, Botox, joint injections).
• Prescribing medications and coordinating multimodal therapies.
• Coordinating care with collaborating physicians and specialists.
• Building trust-based relationships with patients.

What You'll Do

As a Nurse Practitioner at Groth Pain & Spine, you'll manage a diverse caseload of patients experiencing acute, chronic, and post‑surgical pain. Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, and chronic pain conditions
• Performing comprehensive physical examinations and developing individualized treatment plans
• Administering procedures such as trigger point injections, Botox, and joint injections
• Prescribing medications and coordinating multimodal treatment approaches, including physical and occupational therapy, home exercise programs, and minimally invasive interventions
• Facilitating referrals and coordinating care with collaborating physicians and specialists
• Building lasting, trust‑based relationships with patients throughout their care journey

What We're Looking For

• Current NP or PA licensure in New York State
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ANP) by an accredited certifying body (ANCC or AANP).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Natural leadership qualities and sound clinical judgment
