Job summary

Medical Edge is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for its Arizona pain management clinics. You will develop treatment plans, perform evaluations, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient function and reduce pain.

Qualifications

Current Arizona NP license or ability to obtain.
Board Certification as FNP/AGNP or NP certification.
Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
Two or more years of NP experience preferred.
Experience in pain management or outpatient specialties valued.
Excellent communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient practice.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories, exams and pain assessments.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Monitor progress and modify plans as needed.
Order/interpret diagnostic studies and imaging.
Prescribe and manage medications per AZ regulations.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, and expectations.
Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health providers and physical therapists.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
Deliver high-quality care while ensuring compliance and safety.
