Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification/licensure.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficient in documenting patient information and using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and room them efficiently.
• Record vital signs and medical history.
• Conduct urine drug screenings and other clinical tests as directed.
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Update medications and medical history in EMR.
• Organize and manage medical records and imaging.
• Document care accurately in EMR.
• Respond to patient messages and follow up as needed.
• Coordinate with the care team to maintain patient flow.
• Maintain a clean, stocked clinical space and adhere to policies.
