Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Pain Clinic in Iowa. You will support providers, prepare patients, coordinate medications and testing, and educate patients to ensure a smooth, patient-centered experience.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, and a Diploma from an RN program. The position is full-time, with a set 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule and a salary range listed per hour.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and assist provider with examinations, treatment and minor surgical procedures.
• Assist in the delivery of services and patient care.
• Obtain medical histories, prepare and administer injections, collect and prepare specimens and perform office laboratory procedures.
• Schedule referral appointments and distribute patient education information as directed by provider.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care model.
