Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, seeks a compassionate CRNA to join the Pain Medicine department. You will lead medication management for patients with acute and chronic pain and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have ARNP licensure in Iowa, NBCRNA certification, DEA registration, BLS, and a track record in evidence-based pain management. This full-time role offers a supportive work culture and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current ARNP licensure in the State of Iowa or eligibility.
• National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA registration and authority to prescribe controlled substances.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary provider for medication management of patients with acute and chronic pain.
• Evaluate new patients and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with the pain management team.
• Manage opioid and non-opioid analgesic therapies following prescribing guidelines.
• Perform routine PMP/PDMP monitoring and urine drug testing as needed.
• Educate patients and families about pain conditions, treatment options, and safety.
