ECPC Pain Specialists of Roanoke Rapids is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a procedure-based pain clinic. You will handle patient intake, prep and assist during procedures, manage EMR documentation, and help with front-d desk tasks with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes accurate medical record keeping, prior authorizations, and collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Medical Assisting Certificate from an accredited program or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record Systems.
• Two years of medical assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and conduct patient intake.
• Assist the physician before/during/after procedures.
• Obtain prior authorizations for procedures.
• Document patient information in EMR (eClinicalWorks).
• Assist with front desk processes when needed.
• Assist with C-arm fluoroscopy procedures.
• Maintain professionalism and tact with patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
