Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital Pain Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical nursing care for patients undergoing invasive pain procedures, pre- and post-procedure care, and telephone triage. You will document meticulously and support the pain specialist during procedures.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, valid Ohio RN license, BCLS (ACLS preferred), and at least one year of med-surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license to practice in Ohio.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• One year of med-surgical nursing experience required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing invasive pain procedures.
• Perform nursing assessment and pre-procedure preparation.
• Administer medications and assist during procedures.
• Provide post-procedure care and discharge education.
• Handle phone triage, referrals, and insurance pre-authorizations as needed.
