Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Staff Registered Nurse (RN) to direct and perform nursing care for patients in an interventional pain setting. The role involves preparing patients, monitoring during procedures with sedation, and assisting the pain team throughout the procedure.

The ideal candidate will hold a Missouri RN license, have BLS certification, and be able to provide compassionate post-procedure care while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with interventional/procedural nursing is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and/or perform nursing care for assigned patients.
• Prepare patients for interventional pain management procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage sedation as directed.
• Assist interventional pain provider during procedures.
• Provide post-procedure care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control protocols.
