The intern will assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates, perform CAD work, and help with calculations under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
Great communication skills
Solid relationship and team building skills
Self-motivated and strong organization skills

Responsibilities

Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Transportation projects
Assist with drafting CAD work
Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
