Job summary

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is seeking candidates for its Manager in Training program, a hands-on path into leadership within our rental locations.

You’ll gain experience in customer relations, sales, vehicle operations, fleet management, and team leadership, with paid training and a clear path to management. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience, and a flexible schedule including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales, retail, hospitality, operations, or a related customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with branch systems, procedures, and daily activities.
• Work with management to meet sales and operational objectives.
• Assist customers throughout the rental process and address questions.
• Coordinate vehicle availability, fleet movement, and inventory needs.
• Participate in onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance support.
• Ensure vehicles, facilities and branch meet company standards.
• Take on increasing responsibility and demonstrate leadership.
• Collaborate with different areas to develop future management skills.
