Job summary

The Pittsburgh Penguins are seeking a Ticket Sales Intern to observe and learn how a professional ticketing department operates, with hands-on experience in season ticket, group, and premium packages at PPG Paints Arena.

This in-person internship offers 30–40 hours weekly, flexible scheduling including nights and home games, and compensation of $10 per hour. You will work with the ticket sales team on prospecting, CRM updates, events, and fan experiences.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of college or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work in person at PPG Paints Arena.
• Availability to work 30–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of the ticket sales process.
• Cold-call past purchasers, local businesses, and organizations.
• Self‑prospect and search for opportunities to assist new businesses and local organizations.
• Assist with prospecting initiatives and sales opportunities.
• Update customer information in Ticketmaster Archtics/CRM.
• Assist in planning and executing prospecting and season ticket holder events.
• Support the department in maintaining a positive customer and fan experience.
• Conduct research and brainstorm new benefits and experiences for the department.
• Support various department initiatives and projects.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
