Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of patient care and/or operating room experience in an accredited hospital preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Demonstrate understanding of aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Intern will rotate through and learn: Anesthesia.
• Intern will rotate through and learn: Surgical Case Prep.
• Intern will rotate through and learn: Sterile Technique.
• Intern will rotate through and learn: Surgical Scrub, Donning & Doffing of Sterile Scrub Attire.
• Intern will rotate through and learn: Surgical Instruments.
• Intern will rotate through and learn: Sterilization.
