Job summary

Glanbia is seeking a Supply Chain intern to join our 12-week summer internship program. You will support production, demand/materials planning teams and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle—from concept and design through implementation and completion.

You will own a Supply Chain project and present findings to leadership, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and learn Glanbia's processes and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related field with anticipated graduation date Dec 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong math skills including rates, ratios and percent calculations.

Responsibilities

• Own a Supply Chain project that addresses a relevant business challenge and present findings to leadership.
• Support projects throughout the project lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, and recommend practical improvements.
• Assist with project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and equipment specs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, safety and cross-functional partners.
• Work with contractors and vendors to support project execution.
• Apply supply chain principles to real manufacturing challenges while learning Glanbia's processes and standards.
• Participate fully in Pure Ambition program activities and intern presentations.
