Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is offering an Engineering Internship at our St Johns, MI site for a 12-week summer program. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering and manufacturing operations, owning a project and presenting results to leadership.

You will support multiple project lifecycle stages, analyze data, improve processes for safety, quality and efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors. A pathway to full-time may follow.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering with an anticipated graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own an engineering or manufacturing operations project and present findings to leadership.
• Support projects from concept to implementation and completion.
• Collect/analyze data, evaluate processes, and propose practical improvements.
• Assist with scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, equipment specs, and implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and other partners.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
• Apply engineering principles while learning Glanbia’s processes and standards.
• Participate in Pure Ambition program activities and intern presentations.
