Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is offering a 12-week Engineering Internship in Michigan to provide hands-on exposure to manufacturing and project work.

You will join a dynamic team, own a real-world project, and present findings to leadership, while learning Glanbia's processes and continuous improvement practices. This paid internship targets current undergraduates pursuing engineering, with opportunities to work on cross-functional projects, receive coaching, and potentially secure full-time roles

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret data for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own an engineering or manufacturing operations project and present findings to leadership.
• Support projects throughout the lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Collect and analyze data to recommend improvements in safety, quality, cost, reliability, or efficiency.
• Assist with project scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, and equipment specs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and other teams.
• Work with contractors and vendors to support project execution.
• Apply engineering principles to real manufacturing challenges and learn Glanbia processes.
• Participate in Pure Ambition program activities and intern presentations.
