Job summary

The Sanford Health Watertown nursing intern program offers a 10-week paid internship designed to boost clinical skills and confidence under the guidance of an experienced RN preceptor. Interns explore roles in Critical Care Unit, Maternal Child Health, Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, and Emergency Room, while following an RN preceptor’s schedule.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Have completed junior-level clinical requirements.
• Have an expected graduation date Fall/Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a learning experience to develop confidence and competence in clinical skills.
• Be mentored by a licensed professional to strengthen clinical skill sets.
• Perform tasks of direct and indirect patient care and support department activities.
• Follow RN preceptor schedules and be available for all shifts.

Education

Enrolled in accredited nursing program

Junior-level clinical requirements completed

Expected graduation Fall/Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
