Qualifications

• Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited RN program (associate or bachelor degree) and have participated in an academic clinical experience.
• Must be enrolled in a board of licensed clinical practice approved internship course. This does not apply to internships in SD and WI.

Responsibilities

• The Sanford nursing intern participates in a learning experience designed to develop confidence and competence in clinical skills.
• Intern cares for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Mentored by a licensed professional to strengthen clinical skill sets and transition toward a licensed role.
