Job summary

The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns attend development workshops, work on meaningful projects, and are mentored by their managers, with ongoing development throughout the summer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and ongoing college enrollment in a full-time degree program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and build working relationships with peers.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Proactive, creative, and flexible in completing tasks.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and legal writing.
• Support process improvements in the legal department.
• Engage in critical analysis and thinking for business decisions.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Perform a mix of technical and non-technical tasks across projects.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship conclusion.
• Protect member privacy and maintain confidentiality as per policies.
