Job summary

Beck's Superior Hybrids in Atlanta, IN is offering a part-time Production Intern position for May through August 2027. You will rotate through Plant Growth and Development, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Plant Nutrition, and Weed Control segments to gain hands-on seed production experience.

Education requirements include completing sophomore year and pursuing Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Systems Management, or Ag Economics, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Sophomore-year standing in a relevant agricultural program.
• Pursuing majors in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Systems Management or Ag Economics.
• Hold a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn basics of corn and soybean seed production and monitor fields for emergence and stand counts.
• Assist in plant growth, pathology, entomology, nutrition, and weed control learning segments.
• Participate in a summer research project related to seed production.
