The program covers Plant Growth and Development, Plant Pathology, Entomology/IPM, Plant Nutrition, and Weed Control, plus a research project. Applicants should have completed sophomore year in agronomy-related fields and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed sophomore year in college and be majoring in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Systems Management, or Ag Economics.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Involves multiple learning segments including Plant Growth, Pathology, Entomology, and Nutrition.
• Assist in scouting, data collection, and recording plant growth, development, and disease observations.
• Support detasseling during pollination and document tassel counts, silk counts, and pollen shed.
