Job summary

CareSource Management Services offers a 12-week paid summer internship for college students seeking real-world experience in healthcare operations. Participants work on impactful projects, receive a mentor, and attend Journey-to-the-Job seminars with CareSource leaders to explore career paths.

You will support the Health Partner Engagement team, help improve provider education and data validation, and explore AI and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Rising Junior or Senior or recent graduate within 6 months required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Health Partner Engagement team in provider relationships, education, data validation, site visits, and improving provider experience.
• Review processes, policies, SOPs, data, and metrics to identify gaps and improve engagement activities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Care Management and other healthcare operations teams to connect processes.
• Explore opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, and process improvements into workflows.
