Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will participate in development workshops, be mentored by managers, and work on meaningful projects across various tracks including Business Administration, IT, Actuarial, and Analytics.

The program runs from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August, with up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment (full-time undergraduate or graduate).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to interact with diverse audiences and staff at all levels.
• Basic to strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist broker support for direct pay Medicare as part of daily operations.
• Attend broker events and help with table setup and shipping of giveaways and collateral.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects and complete assignments according to priorities.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
