Job summary

HUB International in Metairie, LA is hosting a full-time, 10-week Summer Internship (June 1 to August 6) designed to expose students to insurance brokerage careers across Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, and Retirement & Private Wealth.

You will engage with clients, assist with policy administration, perform market research, participate in technical training, and contribute to reporting while learning from industry professionals and attending networking events.

Qualifications

• College students with a Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 graduation.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about the insurance industry.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: collaborate with sales and service teams to work with clients across the United States.
• Policy Administration: gain hands-on experience with policies, endorsements, renewals, data management and claims processing support.
• Market Research: analyze US insurance markets and regional trends.
• Technical Training: participate in workshops to strengthen industry knowledge.
• Reporting: prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates and findings.
