Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Juncos, Puerto Rico. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience across mechanical, automation, process, chemical, software, and data roles, with projects aligned to business needs.

You will work in a collaborative intern cohort, gain exposure to manufacturing and analytics, and participate in educational programming while supporting real-world improvements. Residency in Puerto Rico is required for the duration.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial/Chemical/Computer Engineering with a Winter 2027 to Spring 2029 graduation date.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed for internship.
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in process improvement and operational efficiency projects.
• Support capacity planning and workflow analysis tasks.
• Contribute to Lean Six Sigma projects and data reporting.
• Engage in software/tools optimization and data management tasks.
