Job summary

Excellus BCBS in Utica offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by their managers, and participate in development workshops while they grow across the summer.

The program runs from June through August (up to 40 hours per week) with tracks in business, IT, analytics, HR, finance, marketing, and more; housing is not provided, and remote options may be considered case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Desired Majors/Degree Programs Include: Business & Management (Finance, Actuarial, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, etc.) or similar program(s)
• Preferred experience communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborating with employees at all levels.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Request for Proposal/Information (RFP/I) activities and spend analytics.
• Create and deliver a presentation upon completion of the internship.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and departmental priorities.
• Perform a mix of technical and non-technical tasks across various business projects.
