Job summary

Bay Mills Community College is offering a Student Employee – Science STEM Internship to provide hands-on experience across science, technology, and youth programming. You will support faculty, staff, and students through administrative, laboratory, and classroom tasks and contribute to STEM outreach such as Teen Nights and Summer Camp.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing documents for lab procedures, handouts, and exams.
• Prepare and organize lab materials and equipment for various lab activities.
• Ensure laboratories are clean, safe, and well-maintained before and after activities.
• Wash and restock laboratory glassware and other supplies as needed.
• Assist faculty with demonstrations and experiments, including community events and on-campus activities.
• Prepare and organize youth activities for Boys and Girls Club Teen Nights and STEM Summer Camp.
• Assist faculty in installing testing STEM equipment, including weather station, underwater ROV, and VR programming.
