Altorfer invites students to join the Think Big Program, a two-year paid internship rotating between Illinois Central College in East Peoria and an Altorfer branch for hands-on service technology training.

Qualifications

• Must be or will be receiving a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Basic computer skills with Word/Excel/Outlook.
• Self-starter with time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-year curriculum rotating between Illinois Central College (East Peoria) and a Caterpillar Dealer Service Technology internship.
• Learn courses like Hydraulics, Engine Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Diagnostic Testing, and Undercarriage/Final Drives.
• Maintain above-average GPA and demonstrate dependable, detail-oriented work habits.
