Job summary

Jordan's Furniture in Reading, MA offers a 10-week paid Sales internship through the Furnish Your Future program. As a rising senior, you will learn the selling process, work with experienced sales teams, and gain hands-on experience on the showroom floor.

The internship requires travel to multiple locations, is in-person, and some weekend shifts. Training, development workshops, and opportunities to visit New England stores are provided.

Qualifications

• Rising college senior pursuing a degree in business management, business administration or marketing.
• Interest in sales and customer service is helpful.
• Willingness to travel to various locations; in-person internship; some weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take part in our June Sales Training Cohort.
• Work alongside seasoned commissioned sales consultants and management to gain insight into the selling process.
• Use a consultative selling approach to find merchandise fitting guests' wants, needs and budget.
• Lead a project about the summer and how you were able to produce sales.
• Any other function or responsibility assigned by the department.
