CVS Health is offering a paid Retail Management Intern program in New Jersey to gain hands-on experience leading a store team and interacting with customers while rotating with Store Managers and District Leaders.

You’ll complete a business-focused project, travel to markets, and learn how decisions affect customer satisfaction and store results. The internship emphasizes leadership and real-world retail operations exposure.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program
• Students should expect to receive their degree between May 2027 and May 2028
• Desired majors include Business Management/Administration, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Retail Studies, General Business
• Ability to work 35 hours per week for 10 weeks on a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• 1-3 years of customer service experience in fast-paced environments such as retail or food service
• Strong communication, problem solving, and relationship-building skills
• Interest in pursuing a career in retail store management
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead a retail team and engage directly with customers
• Learn day-to-day store operations while working with Store Managers and District Leaders
• Develop leadership skills and learn retail management best practices
• Complete a business-focused project and present findings to leadership
• Support operational activities including merchandise handling, inventory, and stocking
