Job summary

AnaVation LLC is offering a 2027 Summer Internship Program for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in software design, coding, cyber security, and data science. The ten-week paid internship is remote, with the team local to Huntsville, AL, enabling in-person collaboration when desirable.

The program includes mentoring, learning activities, and project work across government contracting IT, plus Lunch & Learn sessions and professional development workshops.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a US Government security clearance; sponsorship available.
• Computer Science major with targeted graduation date of May 2028.
• Excellent analytical and math skills; ability to work in teams.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA; proficient with Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber security techniques for offensive and defensive missions.
• Create custom software applications including design, development and testing.
• Develop technology demos leveraging AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Assess new application ideas and research competitor offerings.
• Develop applications (coding) as part of a team and present prototypes to leadership.
• Collaborate on project work and participate in mentoring and workshops.
