Job summary

Cook Polymer Technology is offering a Fall 2027 R&D Engineering Co-op in Bloomington, IN. The 16-week rotation provides hands-on experience in medical device manufacturing with a dedicated mentor, housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, and learning events. You will engage in capstone presentations and gain real-world project exposure.

The program emphasizes quality systems, regulatory awareness, and growth opportunities within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Interest in Life Sciences and ability to work with others.
• Currently a junior or senior or graduate student for fall or graduates in spring before internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Proof of enrollment may be required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Produce project deliverables/documents using engineering knowledge.
• Adhere to QMS, FDA 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Maintain training requirements and seek continuous development.
• Work effectively with others across levels of the organization.
• Adhere to safety requirements and maintain punctual attendance.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Demonstrate clear communication in collaborative or independent settings.
