Job summary

Cook Medical Inc. in Bloomington, IN is offering a paid Summer 2027 R&D Engineering Co-op with a 12-week rotation across our R&D teams. Each co-op position includes a direct mentor, housing stipend, and access to learning events and capstone presentations.

You will contribute to real-world medical device manufacturing projects while adhering to QMS and regulatory requirements, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a College/University Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Produce project deliverables/documents using engineering knowledge.
• Adhere to QMS (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485) and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain all training requirements for the position and pursue growth opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with others across the global organization.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements.
