Cook Polymer Technology in Bloomington, IN is offering a paid Summer 2027 R&D Engineering Co-op (Finance) internship. The role provides a 12-week rotation in Research and Development Engineering with a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, and capstone presentation opportunities.

You will work on real-world medical device manufacturing projects, mentored by a direct supervisor, and gain experience within a regulated environment, including QMS and regulatory controls.

Qualifications

• Interest in a Life Sciences career.
• Ability to work with others and take initiative.
• Proven communication skills and reliability.
• Must provide enrollment proof for upcoming fall semester.

Responsibilities

• Produce project deliverables and documents using engineering knowledge.
• Adhere to the QMS and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485).
• Maintain training requirements and seek growth opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively across global teams with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain attendance.
