Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by start of program (16+ with early high school graduation).
• High school diploma or GED or on track to graduate before start.
• Must be accepted into USU Eastern Pre-Apprenticeship Program and complete enrollment with USU Eastern.
• Must pass Intermountain Electronics pre-employment process including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced mentors in a real manufacturing environment.
• Perform entry-level production and fabrication or electrical assembly tasks.
• Safely operate tools, equipment and machinery after proper training.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
• Develop technical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Maintain professionalism, attendance and a positive attitude throughout the program.
• Complete assigned projects and training objectives.
