Job summary

Intermountain Electronics in Price, Utah, invites applicants to a 2027 Spring Pre-Apprenticeship Program for Electrical Technicians or Fabricators. The program combines internship and apprenticeship elements, offering hands-on training, safety instruction, and college credit with no prior experience required.

Participants will split time between Electrical or Fabrication training, mentored by industry professionals, and on-the-job learning in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age by start of the program.
• Must have graduated from high school or possess a GED, or be on track to graduate prior to the program start.
• Must be accepted into the USU Eastern Pre-Apprenticeship Program and complete enrollment.
• Must successfully complete Intermountain Electronics' pre-employment hiring process, including a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn from experienced mentors in a real manufacturing environment.
• Perform entry-level production and fabrication or electrical assembly tasks.
• Safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery after proper training.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction.
