This unique program combines the best aspects of an internship and an apprenticeship, allowing participants to gain hands‑on industry experience while earning college credit—all with no prior experience required.
Participants will choose one of two career paths:
Whether you're looking to explore a skilled trade or begin a long-term career, this program provides real-world experience, professional mentorship, and a direct pathway into one of Utah's fastest-growing industries.
As a Pre-Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals while developing the foundational skills needed for a successful career in manufacturing and skilled trades.
Depending on your selected career path, you will receive hands‑on training in either Electrical or Fabrication while learning industry safety standards, quality expectations, manufacturing processes, and professional workplace skills.
Responsibilities include:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (every other Friday off)
Schedules may vary depending on department assignment.
