Job summary

Studs is seeking Apprentices to join a paid 6-week piercing training program beginning late August at our Charleston, SC studio. After graduation, you’ll become eligible for Part Time Associate Piercer positions at the Chestnut Hill studio in Massachusetts.

Graduated apprentices earn $24/hour plus tips as Associate Piercers, while during training you earn $19/hour plus tips, with a focus on safety, service, and brand education.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (preferred).
• Full Time: up to 5 days per week (32+ hours) including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must pierce a minimum of 18 appointments per day.

Responsibilities

• Service oriented responsibilities: educate clients about Studs experience and provide confident, professional communication throughout the customer journey.
• Maintain compliance with piercing operating procedures and safety standards; detailed record-keeping of maintenance and sterilized inventory.
