Job summary

Studs is seeking apprentices to join a 6-week paid piercing training program at our studio locations, with graduation leading to part-time or full-time Associate Piercer roles at our Hyde Park studio. Graduated apprentices earn $24/hour plus tips; during training, $18/hour plus tips.

This role emphasizes a service-oriented culture, education of clients about the Studs experience, and strict adherence to safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least two years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (preferred).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule up to 5 days per week including weekends and holidays.
• Must pierce a minimum 18 appointments a day.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-oriented experiences and educate clients about Studs.
• Deliver confident, clear, professional communication with clients.
• Adhere to piercing operating procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, sterilized inventory, and tools.
• Uphold Studs core values and provide solutions-oriented feedback.
