Job summary

Global Medical Response Buffalo, NY is seeking an Advanced EMT to transport and care for patients in emergency and non-emergency situations, following DOT and AHA guidelines; the EMT-Advance may also serve as a driver.

Starting pay is $23.94 per hour with full-time hours and benefits. Our program pays for books, uniforms, and tuition while also paying employees their hourly wage during class, supporting growth and credentialing in EMS.

Qualifications

• Must be currently State registered as EMT-Advance.
• Must possess a current driver’s license in the State where employed.
• Current adult and child CPR certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and efficient care of the patient and stabilization of condition prior to transport.
• Provides careful handling of the patient in moving to the ambulance.
• Responsible for precepting new employees and students as directed.
• Maintains vehicle equipment and records; ensures unit ready for service.
