AMR Buffalo is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) for a full-time role in Buffalo, NY. Starting pay is $22.04 per hour and up, based on experience, with orientations scheduled for late August and late September 2026.

The EMT-B will respond to emergencies, deliver high-quality care, and support patient safety with a strong service mindset. We offer opportunities to grow toward a Paramedic license; AMR covers books, uniforms, and tuition and pays hourly wage while in class.

Competenze

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
State EMT certification required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
Healthcare experience preferred.

Mansioni

EMTs provide assessment and care for patients in emergencies and non-emergencies.
Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate skills to provide care with equipment and tools.
Operate an ambulance according to safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
